Annual Cost Savings is calculated by comparing current energy, bulb replacement, and maintenance costs to the estimated costs after upgrading to LED technology. This calculation does not include business and safety costs associated with an unlit dock area.
Payback Period Calculation
The Payback Period is determined by first calculating the total cost of upgrading to LED lighting, then estimating the number of months required to recover this cost from savings in energy and maintenance.
Note: Tri Lite LED light fixtures are estimated to last 60,000 hours (over 16 years at 10 hrs/day). Considering the exceptionally long life, replacement costs were not included in these calculations.

Annual Hours of Operation
